Wednesday 8th October  10-4pm with a break for lunch - £85 per person.

We are thrilled to welcome Rowan designer, Lisa Richardson to Hoop this Autumn. Lisa is a Yorkshire girl whose work is inspired by nature. She has an eclectic design portfolio which includes both knitting and crochet and she especially loves colourwork and slip stitch mosaic.

In this class we will be working the Florence neckerchief using Rowan Yarns Alpaca Classic. You could extend this after the class to the full sized shawl version if you liked.

Florence is an asymetric neckerchief/shawl using striped garter stitch and 2 different slip stitch colourwork patterns, 
Working slip stitch patterns is a beautiful and easy way of achieving colourwork patterning but only using 1 shade across a row.

This class is suitable for a knitter with basic knitting skills as I will be going through the rows step by step and I will be providing a vaiety of shades of yarn in part balls for you to choose to be able to complete the neckerchief version.

This is an in person class at Hoop@Red Lane Mill and includes a 6 hour workshop hosted by Lisa Richardson,+ lunch, tea/coffee/ soft drinks + biscuits, the pattern, and odds of yarn to knit the neckerchief. 

You will need to bring 3.75mm circ needle to knit the project. You will be able to purchase  yarn to complete the project at hoop with 10% discount. 

Important Notice - This class will only run if at least 6 people have booked on the course. A decision will be made 7 days before the class date - 1st October.

From Midnight 1st October I'm sorry but this class is non refundable, and you are not able to exchange for another class or credit. If you do need to cancel we are happy to help you try and sell your place. 

To give us time to prepare, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the session begins.
