Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Stärke 6 – 6 Ply Sport/DK Yarn

Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Stärke 6 brings the distinctive colour changes of Crazy Zauberball to a heavier 6 ply yarn. Made from two strands of gradient yarn plied together, it creates beautiful, gradual colour transitions as you knit.

At 400 metres per 150g ball, Stärke 6 is a versatile 6 ply yarn that sits around the Sport to DK weight range. It is still a great choice for socks, but the heavier weight makes it particularly well suited to garments, colourwork yokes, shawls and accessories where the changing colours can be shown to full effect.

The yarn's long colour gradients create a gently shifting effect across your project, making each piece distinctive without the need to change colours yourself.

From socks to sweaters

Zauberball Stärke 6 is substantial enough for larger projects while retaining the durability and practical qualities you'd expect from a sock yarn. The combination of 75% Merino wool and 25% Bio Nylon gives it softness, strength and good wear resistance.

It's particularly effective in sweaters and colourwork yokes, where the gradual colour changes can become an integral part of the design. It also works beautifully in shawls and accessories.
